This structure is for mobile telephone antennas as sustainable urban elements.
Client: Ayuntamiento de Sant Cugat
Design/conception: Alessandro Caviasca
SIARQ also designed structures for mobile telephone antennas as sustainable urban elements.
These structures, created to allow different mobile telephone companies to share facilities, also integrates streetlights to illuminate the surrounding public space.
This creates an alternative to installing mobile telephone antennas on the roofs of houses. This new structure goes in public places so individuals are not exposed to continuous radiation waves.
Moreover, the form and design of the structure hides the antennas to transform it into an urban structure, inspired by elements of nature, and provides great symbolic value to the city.
