Curva

Designer: Alessandro Caviasca

This serves two functions in one, light and a bench, which responds to the typical garden and park needs. The stylized shape design invites you to rest under its shadow. CURVA’s autonomy allows for installation in areas far away from electricity. The innovation of this product incorporates the latest advances in technology which increase the energy efficiency and illumination simultaneously.

As the name indicates, CURVA contains an elegant design characteristic that was inspired by nature. The metallic curves support the solar panel, the luminary and the bench (where the batteries are), and allow the integration of advertisements or signage: adding new functionality and attractiveness to the project. The lights are located 3.5 meters above the ground, to maximize the illumination of the zone, while reducing the luminous contamination associated with this. The photovoltaic solar module uses a receptor panel fixed to an inclined structure at the apex of the streetlight. This structure of this lighting eliminates the need to excavate large trenches to connect to main networks of electricity. It also allows for lighting in zones that cannot easily access energy. Ultimately, this structure is also designed to serve as a bench for two people, making it ideal for public spaces, parks, and gardens. The innovation of this product incorporates the latest advances in technology which increase the energy efficiency and illumination simultaneously.

Our collaboration with the European project on the digital display will allows us to make an evolutionary CURVA like a support for exterior communication “Smart and Luminous”.
